Happy New Year! Oh, my, did I see out 2009 with proper gusto! It's been two days, and now that my vision has finally returned to normal (seeing double is interesting for a while, but bad for doing any kind of reading), I'm back to leak another little excerpt/cover combo. This one is from one of our favorite online publications that also puts out print editions. Issue 4 of PANK comes out on 10th January 2010, happening to coincide in publication date with our "Death Takes a Holiday" issue. Coincidence? You decide. All I know is that in a perfect world, you're curled up in your comfy office chair, with PANK on your knee and S,F,&D on your screen. Really, it just doesn't get better than that.
So here's some PANK:
Tuesdays were Ladies’ Night at City Bowl, but no ladies ever came except for Allie. After she got off from Dr. Medbaugh’s office, where she’d worked as a hygienist for the past six months, she’d take the bus to City Bowl to let men touch her breasts for two dollars a pop. The dark booth farthest from the door was ideal for just this sort of transaction. It was within visual range of both the dartboard and the bar, allowing men to pretend not to watch as Allie lifted her shirt slowly up over her breasts until the bright blast of white skin called out into the dark barroom and said, "Hello boys."
